Simple, clean and well-located stay
private access helpful staff comfortable bed
I had a room separate from the main pub. This gave me quiet and private access. The staff members were helpful. I found free on-site parking very convenient. The beds were comfortable and allowed for good sleep.
The room could use a chair. It would be useful.

a pleasant stay
spacious room comfortable beds friendly staff lovely stay
I found the family room very spacious. the beds were comfortable. staff were very friendly. They provided everything we needed. i would stay again, i really thank them for a lovely stay.
the window in the bathroom didn't shut properly. there was a distinct smell of weed in the corridor.

spacious room private entrance free parking
The family room was spacious, including a double bed and two single beds. A desk and chair offered a workspace, which i found helpful. The private entrance was convenient for coming and going at different hours, and the free parking on the surrounding roads was a bonus.

Although the hotel does not serve food, numerous takeaways are located nearby. I was able to get plates and cutlery from the staff for convenience. The attached bar was friendly.

uncomfortable mattress back pain
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The mattress was terribly uncomfortable. It hurt my back, and I ended up sleeping on the floor.

spacious room tea coffee handy bar poor mattress no cleaning missing chair
the room was quite spacious. i appreciated the tea and coffee facilities. the bar downstairs was handy for a quick drink.
the mattress felt poor. the room received no cleaning , except for bin liner. i did not have a chair or mirror in the room.

adequate stay
clean room friendly staff broken window bathroom noise
the room was clean. staff were friendly. i found the rail station easy to get to. regular customers were also helpful.
there was a broken window with a plywood temporary repair. the wifi did not reach my room. this is a known issue. there was a loud regular noise coming from the bathroom. it was possibly related to the toilet.
